Greenpeace Ship Has Whaling Fleet On The Run.
Source: Esperanza Weblog
I just had to make time for this latest news article, as the Esperanza ship located the Japanese whaling fleet on their radar yesterday, today they caught up with them, which in turn made the fleet run in an attempt to evade the greenpeace ship.
This is great news as while the whaling fleet are on the run they cannot hunt, and when they do slow to hunt whales the Esperanza will attempt to put themselves between the harpoons and the whales, a direct non-violent action to protect the whales. You can read the full weblog article here: “We found the whaling fleet“. And you can even check out the live webcam on the Esperanza.
Tony’s View:
First I need to apologise to my regular readers for not being able to post articles for some time, my broken finger has given me more trouble than I can deal with in my regular day offline which has not given me enough time online to research articles and make posts.
After seeing this latest news I just had to make the extra effort to inform you,as we have all been following this ludicrous whale hunt from the very beginning, and this is great news that greenpeace has at last been able to start creating at the very least lost time for the whalers and probably already saved a few whales in the process.
There will surely be a lot more action over the coming weeks and I will at least get to post the updates as and when I get them. I’m missing the time I used to get online and I can’t wait until I can resume full time blogging again. I do apologise again to my readers and will try to get back on track as soon as is humanly possible.
Let me know your thoughts on this latest news.
How far do you think the greenpeace crew will go to protect these whales?
Do you expect other countries to become involved now?
Tony:)
